Natural home-made body scrub
This indulgent body scrub uses Himalayan salt to exfoliate the skin and the perfect combination of aromatherapy essential oils to promote a sense of relaxation.
I used Neals Yard aromatherapy oils, but you can switch these out for your favourite brand.
Almond Oil – 30ml (organic is best)
Frankincense Essential Oil– 8 drops. Promotes a sense of relaxation and helps to rejuvenate the skin
Mandarin Essential Oil – 2 drops. Deeply restful, it’s calming for the emotions
Neroli Essential Oil (my fav) – 2 drops. Nourishes the skin and helps to uplift the emotions
Patchouli Essential Oil – 2 drops. Grounding for the emotions and is known to be rejuvenating for the skin
Cypress Essential Oil – 1 drop. Uplifting for the emotions and toning for the skin
Himalayan Salt – 4 tablespoons
1. Combine all the ingredients in a jar or bowl, except the salt.
2. Next, gradually mix in the salt.
3. Gently massage into damp skin using circular movements before washing off thoroughly.
Use once a week or more often on dry areas such as elbows and feet.
