Fair Squared Skincare Review *PR sample
Hello lovelies, hope you’ve all had a good week? Thanks to the team at Fair Squared Skincare, I’ve had fun trying out some fabulous new products from them.
I’ve been on a bit of quest lately to find skin and body care products that are natural and organic and came across Fair Squared on Instagram – instantly falling in love with their ethos. If you haven’t heard of the brand before, they are one of the first cosmetic product producers that have permission to label their products with the widely known Fairtrade label.
Working with producers from some of the worlds poorest countries, contributing to a fairer more sustainable future. Not only are they Fairtrade but their products are also certified cruelty free, natural, vegan-friendly and halal – making a refreshing change from more commercial products. They carry the seal of approval from the Vegan Society and the animal rights organisation PETA.
The brand reminds me a bit of Ren Skincare, who I worked with many years back when they were first emerging into the market and have been a favorite of mine ever since.
I’ve had these products for a little over two weeks now and I am thoroughly enjoying using them. They smell divine, are doing wonders for my skin, all whilst safe in the knowledge that I am using a product that is actually putting something back into worldwide communities.
So which products have I now added to my daily routine?
I was sent a generous sample of products to trial and these are the ones I am reaching for daily.
Argam Facial Cream in medium, which is also available in light, for younger, acne prone or very sensitive skin and rich, ideal for mature, dehydrated or stressed skin. The medium formula is ideal for normal to combination skin and full of skin conditioning ingredients such as Fairtrade argan oil from Morocco, apricot kernel oil from Pakistan and olive oil from Palestine. A calming formula whilst fighting free radicals. I have been using this every morning and is perfect for my oil-prone skin. My skin is hydrated and makeup layers perfectly over this product. This retails for €12.95 for 30ml.
Green Tea Body Butter Formulated with shea butter and green tea which has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries due to its rejuvenating and healing properties, this rich body butter is excellent for dry skin. Formulated with Fairtrade shea butter from Burkina Faso, oil olive oil from Palestine and green tea from India. I am amazed by this product. I suffer from very dry skin on my legs, especially in the winter months. I have been teaming this with the Green Tea Shower Gel daily and boy have I noticed a difference. Its formula is hydrating but not oily and dries down very quickly. This retails for €11.95 for 150ml.
Green Tea Showe Gel a soothing formula made from Fairtrade olive oil from Palestine and green tea from Inda. This smells gorgeous and is ethical showering at its best – I look forward to using this every morning. This retails for €9.95 for 250ml.
I will definitely be purchasing from this brand and already have my eye on some of their other products. I am also a sucker for their packaging.
Guys, seriously, if you care about the sourcing and ingredients of your products you need to check this brand out. Why not try one of their fantastic trial sets – a great way to introduce yourself to the range of products they produce.
