Cacti Cosmetics Purify Facial Exfoliator
Happy new year lovelies. I hope you all had a fantastic Christmas and saw the new year in with a bang? With it being a new year, I thought I would share with you a lovely little find from an indie brand called Cacti Cosmetics.
The brand contacted me in late December and asked if I would like to try one of their products. Of course, I jumped at the chance as I love supporting emerging indie brands. I was asked to choose a product, and given that I love glowing skin, the Purify Facial Exfoliator was an easy choice for me.
About the brand
Let’s take a look at the brand. Cacti Cosmetics is a fully vegan, cruelty-free, environmentally friendly brand, that uses no synthetic materials in any of the products they create. All of their ingredients are naturally sourced and are free from parabens, fillers, SLS and chemicals. All of their products are also fully bio-degradable and they are also 100% plastic free. We like A LOT!
As I said, I have been testing out the facial exfoliator, but along with this, Cacti also produce skincare such as facial oils and lip balm (which is on my list to purchase).
Let’s talk about the product I’ve been trying out.
Ok, so as I mentioned I love a good exfoliator and this one does not disappoint.
Powder in its constancy, this needs to be mixed with water, apple cider vinegar or facial oil to create a paste. So depending on your skin type, this is completely customisable. More oil for drier skins or water for skin that tends to be more on the oily side.
Packed full of natural ingredients and with the natural exfoliation properties of ground almonds and infused with comforting aromatherapy oils of lavender and geranium, this is a beautiful way to naturally remove dead skin.
The powder also contains Calcium Bentonite, which has fantastic skin reviving properties. Not only does this remove impurities from the skin but it also helps to restore moisture balance all whilst removing excess oil.
After one use your skin feels baby soft and has that ‘just had a facial’ glow.
If you are looking for products that are 100% natural, vegan, cruelty-free and environmentally friendly, then this is the brand for you. I am excited to see what else is launched from them throughout 2019.

Well that’s all from me. Again, I hope you’re having a great start to your 2019 and I will be back soon.
