The Body Shop Mediterranean Almond Milk With Oats Face Mask
Hello, lovelies. Today on the blog I am talking about one of my all-time favourite brands, and a new product launch of theirs, which is the Body Shop Mediterranean almond milk with oaks face mask – designed for those with the most sensitive of skins.
I was lucky enough to attend an event at my local Body Shop store, where they were showcasing said mask, which is an addition to their already extensive face mask collection.
If you haven’t been into store for a while, you must. All the old favourites still have a place on their shelves but with the addition of some new formulas which rival some of the best high-end products.
Kind and gentle to the most sensitive of skins
This latest addition is a mask which is designed for those with sensitive and easily irritated skin. This rich and creamy mask intensely hydrates the dryest of skins, whilst gently exfoliating, leaving the skin looking glowing, plump and comforted.
Free from any harsh chemicals or ingredients, you can be sure that this little jar will be nothing but kind and gentle on the skin.
Made with oatmeal and Fair Trade organic almond milk from Spain, this is a hug for the skin in a jar. As always with the Body Shop, this is cruelty-free and 100% organic.
If you suffer at all with dry, itchy, flakey, eczema prone skin and tend to steer clear of more intensive beauty treatments, this could be the ideal weekly treat for your skin. I’d recommend adding this to your evening routine for a few minutes of comforting pampering.
You can grab this face mask in-store or online now, priced at £17.00 for 75ml. Also, if you are worried about your skin reacting, pop into store and ask for a sample, the Body Shop are more than happy for you to try before you buy.
Along with being totally in love with this new mask, I do have a few all-time favourites. One, in particular, I have mentioned just a few times on my blog in the past.
The camomile cleansing butter is honestly one of my favourite cleansing balms and at £10 is a fraction of the cost of its higher-end rivals.
It melts away makeup in an instant without irritating sensitive skin. This really is worth a try and is one of the Body Shop’s best selling items.
Body care for the dryest of skins.
If you’re more into your body care, then I would highly recommend the Almond Milk and Honey range.
With a deliciously soft scent, the range, enriched with Fair Trade almond milk and honey and is perfect for dry and dehydrated skins.
Start with the body wash and follow with the body yoghurt or for drier skins that need that little extra moisturisation, the perfectly whipped body butter.
I just adore Body Shop products and have been a fan since my teenage years, when I would obsess over the fruity animal soaps (which are still available in store). White Musk fragrance oil was a staple for teens of the 90’s.
The Body Shop has since 1989 campaigned against animal testing for cosmetic purposes and to date have over 8 million signatures to end animal testing FOREVER. You can read a little more about their plight against animal testing and sign the petition HERE.
I could talk all day about how many fantastic products they have, all of which are cruelty-free, with a mindfull ethos of suitability and fair trade. The vision of the wonderful Anita Roddick lives on.
Well, that’s all from me. I hope you enjoy these products as much as I do.
